Endowment
The Thomasville Entertainment Foundation Endowment Trust was established in 1997 through a generous gift from the Jasper and Marthalene Davis Charitable Trust, given in honor of TEF Executive Director Emeritus Emily Barkley Searcy.
The Trust perpetuates the mission of TEF: To captivate audiences with live performances by world renowned artists, while cultivating the future of the performing arts with educational programs and events.
Contributions to the Trust have enabled TEF to provide concerts, workshops and special programs for area students and to offer subsidized or free student tickets for series concerts. The fund also has enabled TEF to grant financial assistance to some of the region's most talented young musicians. Income from the Endowment Trust supports TEF in its goal to improve quality of life and bring world class artists to Thomasville.
The Trust is managed by a board of three rotating and four permanent trustees. J. Claud Davis IV, Janice P. Faircloth (chair), Richard G. Mooney III and Thomas H. Vann, Jr., serve as permanent trustees. Rotating trustees are TEF President Peggy Brady, TEF Executive/Artistic Director Rick Ivey and TEF Treasurer Rita Amisson.
The trustees invite you to support the mission of TEF through a tax-deductible gift to the Endowment.
