A Grammy-winning producer, trombonist, composer, and NEA Jazz Master, Delfeayo Marsalis has toured internationally with music legends such as Ray Charles, Art Blakey, Max Roach, Elvin Jones and Slide Hampton, as well as leading his own groups. In 2008, he formed the Uptown Jazz Orchestra, a highly entertaining ensemble that focuses on bringing the jazz party all night long! Brother to jazz legends Wynton and Branford Marsalis, Delfeayo has produced more than 125 recordings, composed more than 100 songs and 16 musicals for kids, and released 10 of his own recordings to critical acclaim. The latest, Crescent City Jewels, held a top 10 spot in the Jazz Week Radio charts for 8 weeks.
